Internet down and Xfinity assistant not responding

My internet is down and I’m trying to troubleshoot with the Xfinity assistant as instructed (over a mobile connection that is working), but the assistant is not responding. When I try to get help I get pushed back to the assistant which is not responding. It’s 9pm at night and the wait for a call back is over 45 minutes.
