Intermittent Internet Connection - Whole Neighborhood after "NETWORK UPGRADE"

Hi All,

I received a text from Xfinity that they were doing Network upgrades in my area.  May experience short outages.  I also received the text that work has been completed.

Its been 3 days and I have had nothing but dropped connections.  The entire neighborhood is experiencing the same.

Is there a phone # i can call that isn't a Virtual assistant and speak to someone about the "Network upgrade" and issues it has caused in our service area?

Hey and welcome @dantis! I totally understand where you are coming from! I have had several updates and text notifications in my area as well. We do apologize about the service interruptions you and your neighbors have experienced. When it comes to the network updates, sometimes things can get a bit more complex and delay the advancement, repairs, and vice versa. We recommend using the Xfinity Application and the status map for help and area interruption statuses. It truly helps! You should be receiving updates via SMS as well. I will tell you, my situation may not have been yours, but it was definitely time for an upgrade on my modem. I went to my local store to swap it out. Have you tried using any of the troubleshooting options in the Xfinity Application? What about resetting your modem?
