installing new walljack for internet
Our internet cable is currently coming through a walljack directly above a fireplace and mantle where we want to hang artwork. Can xfinity change the location of the walljack to another room? The technician that set up our internet service said that walljack was the only one that worked.

As someone who's pretty particular about aesthetics myself, I completely understand why you'd want it moved. If the technician who was out there advised that the current location is the only viable option, I'd be concerned that scheduling another service visit could result in the same recommendation.
If relocating the cable is important to you, some customers choose to move the cabling themselves if they're comfortable doing so, or they hire a local electrician or handyman to assist. I just wanted to share those options before you spend money on another service call that may not lead to a different outcome.
