Installing new gateway

Hi, I received my new Gateway internet. I have disconnected the old one and plugged in the new one. I have attached the coax cable to the tv and the modem. 

is that incorrect? I’m getting flashing white lights, but still have no connection.

please help!

user_wobfpr Thank you so much for your post for help with setting up your new gateway. The box should have also contained a card with instructions, including how to use the Xfinity app to complete your activation. Have you checked out your new modem in the app already and completed the activation there?
