Installation issue - Construction Team

Hello,
I just moved into my newly built home and I have been waiting for an install for over a week and a half. Xfinity sent a tech over and saw that the coaxial cable has not been fed thru the already dug hole. My next door neighbor has their which tells me the digging is already done. All customer service reps I’ve spoken to in the last 4 days have been no help and just sending me copy and paste transcripted messages that absolutely doesn’t solve my issue.
All I need is the “construction team” to come out and feed a wire thru a tube. Yet they keep telling me it will take 14 days just to scope out the work. I have attached a picture of my house with the already dug tube and a picture of my neighbors house with the coaxial cable already installed. Please help I need this for my livelihood as I work hybrid and need internet for my job. I cannot wait another day longer. If this does not get resolved in the next 24 hours I will be cancelling my service order and I will be switching to StarLink

Hello @NeilE , and thank you for sharing what's been going on here on our Xfinity Community forums.
I can absolutely understand your frustration, especially after waiting a week and a half for service at a brand-new home and seeing that nearby properties already appear to have connectivity in place. When you rely on Internet service for work, any delay can be incredibly disruptive.
While it may look as simple as feeding a cable through an existing conduit, new construction work can sometimes require additional review before construction crews are able to proceed. Depending on the location, there can be permitting requirements, utility coordination, easement verification, safety considerations, or engineering reviews that must be completed before work is authorized. Unfortunately, those steps can add time even when the physical work itself appears straightforward.
That said, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your situation and review the status of the construction request. Please send us a Direct Message* with your full name and complete service address, and we'll investigate the details further to see what information is available regarding the next steps for your installation.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and would welcome the opportunity to assist.
