Info about adding internet service

I'm helping my 89 year-old parents who are interested in adding internet service. They are longtime cable TV customers and currently have Ultimate TV. They may want to get internet service but don't understand anything about the service or costs.

Could someone at Xfinity DM me so I can get information about pricing on a bundled TV/internet package and available discounts (senior, veteran, hearing disability)? Talking with a sales rep by phone has not been helpful and I've had great experiences using the forum.

Just so you are aware, it's easier than ever to change services and check for eligible promotions. If your parents log in with their primary XFINITY ID and browse over to: https://www.xfinity.com/planbuilder , they can browse and compare service plans and options, and even change over right online! We can help as well, but being that it is your parents account, I do want to let you know that we would need to chat with an authorized user to speak on billing or make changes. If you're not already, please make sure to have them add you as at least a manager level user. Details are located here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/primary-and-secondary-accounts If you still need manual assistance with changing services, and you are set up to be authenticated, please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address for the service location. Thanks!

I just want to get information about pricing to decide it’s worth going to the next steps. They have Ultimate TV and want to add internet service. The website information is not helpful. I don’t want to make any changes to their account. I’m just trying to gather information so I can talk with them further.

I'm sorry to hear that the website is not helpful in regard to the information you're looking for, @rckraus! Could you describe what the discrepancy is in that regard? Also, we can see what we can do to help, but there may be difficulty as we cannot discuss aspects of an account unless authorized.
