In house tech

I need an I house tech to install the cable port in my home upstairs. They keep sending contractors who do no have permission to drill per their companies. There have been 4 techs to my home for a simple install! How hard does this have to be?!

They installed the modem in the downstairs closet. I work from home upstairs and need it moved to the master bedroom. There is no cable port it needs to be created. I said ALL OF THIS WHILE SCHEDULING, why would you send someone who can’t drill holes?!? I’m a woman and I’m tired of all these men in my house with my kids! Please fix this ASAP. I need to be hard wired to my computer.

Greetings @user_le7rq7,

Thank you for making us aware of this issue. I would like to let you know that frontline agents do not determine the type of technician that is dispatched to your address. Agents just select the work that needs to be completed, and our dispatch teams send out technicians that should be able to complete the work. I know strangers visiting your home can be quite inconvenient, and I want to make sure that we can get you to that finish line with the least amount of interruption to your life as possible. Have the technicians just mentioned that they can't drill or did they mention any concerns of having to perform wall fishing?

I appreciate you taking a moment to clarify, @user_le7rq7. I'd like to take a closer look at the notes on your account and ensure we get the right technician to get this work completed for you. Many jobs even require you to be connected by Ethernet these days, so I how important this is for you. Please send our team a direct message with your full name and service address so that we can get started.
