I’m losing my job thanks to [Edited]

So far I’ve lost $500 in income this week thanks to [Edited: "Inflammatory"], and if I am not able to get online today, I am going to lose my job. I hope [Edited: "Inflammatory"] feels good about creating another jobless veteran.  And once I lose my job and can’t afford to pay the rent, I’ll lose my apartment. [Edited: "Inflammatory"] will also be responsible for adding to the homeless vet population. Your company has ruined my life, and I will not forgive or forget this. Any opportunity I have to stick it to [Edited: "Inflammatory"], I will take it. And I have the entire veteran community to help me with this.

user_hk3atb Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I can hear how stressful and overwhelming this situation has been, especially with the impact it's having on your ability to work and support yourself. I never want to minimize the hardship you're experiencing, and I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you've faced this week. I'd like to see how we can help, but I need to understand a bit more about what's going on. Are you currently experiencing a service interuption, or is there a different issue affecting your connection? Have you received any updates through the Xfinity app, text messages, or from a technician regarding the status of the issue?

I work from home too so I understand how important it is to have a strong connection and what to help if possible.

I am currently awaiting install of services. Yesterday, a [Edited: "Inflammatory"] agent told me they found an open appointment slot and that someone would be here today. I called this morning to confirm they were still coming, and found out that the agent had lied to me, and no one is coming g until tomorrow. Trouble is, of if I can’t get online today, I am going to lose my job. And before you say “what about connecting wirelessly?”, my work computer does not have a wireless card because my employer only allows hardwired connections.

Thanks for that information, @user_hk3atb. I'm sorry that this has caused you so much inconvenience and frustration. My team would love to stick with you to ensure the services get properly and successfully installed. We would also be more than happy to see if there are any available appointments today, but I do want to be upfront and let you know we cannot make any guarantees that a tech will be available to come out today.
