I would like to transition my Xfinity internet service to NOW without service interruption

I would like to transition my Xfinity internet service to NOW without (or with very little) service interruption.  I understand I have to cancel my current service first, but it seems I would then be without service for a month while NOW is activated.  I've seen other forum posts (like this: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/customer-service/saw-new-xfinity-now-internet-plan-and-would-like-to-change-to-it/663f07c2bf751d79fd9fa03f) that discuss sending direct messages to support, but there no longer seems to be a way to DM directly.

Would someone please help me to with this transition to NOW?

It was great working with you to get things changed around, @user_gye000!

For community knowledge, we needed to set up a pending disconnect on the post paid account and get signed up for NOW internet. The disconnection stays pending on the account to give you time to get the NOW equipment in the mail and activate it. Downtime is minimal as you change out the modems. Once the NOW internet modem is activated, the post paid account closed fully.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Yeah, as I said, there no longer seems to be a way to DM directly anyway.

Hey @user_gye000, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time message us today. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you and see how we can get the NOW Internet service added without interruption.

Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, clicking on the pen and paper icon, and then entering “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full first/last name and complete service address (Including the city, state, and zip code), and I'll be happy to help get this done.
