I received a call offering a 50% Discount - is this a legit offer or a spam call?

I just received an offer for 50% off for two years as part of a Target cross promotion. The catch was paying the first 6 months in advance with Target Gift Cards. The call came from [Edited: "Personal Information"]. I was told to call into Billing & Finance at [Edited: "Personal Information"] with the Target cards to activate the discount. This sounds super sketchy so I'm trying to find out if you guys are actually offering this promotion.

It IS a scam.

If you have gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill the FTC is well aware of this scam. If you get a call like this you can report it to: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/

You can also report it to https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/alerts

Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.
