I have not changed my password. I can login by going to the Xfinity email webpage, but my password is being rejected on Microsoft Outlook app on my Windows 11 laptop. This just started a day or 2 ago. Did Xfinity make port # changes?
Thank you for confirming, @user_kkl51l! I am not aware of any recent changes but we did have a very similar issue earlier this year from an Outlook update as we discussed in chat. Were you able to remove and then add the email box to see if the password message stops coming up?

I appreciate you trying these steps. They usually fix the issue. Is it still coming up with the password error when you try to add it back or do you see a different error, @user_kkl51l? Are you using New Outlook or Classic Outlook?

No, I am not getting any errors when I login on the Xfinity website. I do not understand why I can’t use Comcast email on Windows Outlook. Xfinity’s phone support is worthless!
They have no clue what to do to get it working on Outlook. I am very sorry that I have used my Comcast email on some of my app logins. There is no reason why this is happening. I have heard that Comcast wants their email clients to use their access email on their website only!

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
