how to switch to NOW Internet and have continuous intenet
Am currently an Xfinity Internet Platinum plan customer. I want to switch to NOW Internet. I'm going in circles with support to understand how to do this without losing service for a few days
I'm told I need to cancel my Platinum account and be off the billing system before I can sign up for a NOW account.
I do not want my internet to be taken away the day I cancel as it will take time to set up NOW. I want to cancel PLATINUM, sign up at NOW, receive NOW hardware and activate NOW with seamless internet.
What are the steps to take and means to contact the right folks in order to do this.
Also, am speech impaired and told phone is the ONLY way to set up NOW account.
Help please.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_lgqyio, and thanks for reaching out on our Xfinity Community forums! We're here to help!
We can definitely help point you in the right direction! To transition from your current Xfinity service to NOW Internet, the first step would be for us to assist with setting up the cancellation of your existing services. NOW Internet eligibility requires other Xfinity services to be removed (or be set up in the process of removal,) with Xfinity Mobile being the exception.
Don't worry, we can set up the cancellation on the existing services so you won't lose them until you are ready to activate the NOW services once you receive your Self-Install kit for it.
After that, you’ll be able to use the NOW Internet portal to verify eligibility for your address and sign up online.
To get started, please send us a Direct Message with your full name, and complete service address for your current services. Once we have your cancellation order built, you should then be able to place the order for your NOW Internet service online.
