how to get orange cable buried

Over a year ago, an Xfinity tech person was at my house addressing an internet issue. He ran an orange cable to the house and after a year, it still has not been buried. How do I get this taken care of?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey @user_tbdxer,

Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Community Forums support page. We can most certainly help assist with submitting a drop bury request the cable that needs to be buried. We would need to submit a request, but here is the process for "When an underground cable line needs to be installed or replaced".

Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your full first/last name and complete service address (Including the city, state, and zip code)?

To send a "Direct Message" message:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
