How to cancel a move

Hello, I would like to cancel my order to move service. I decided instead that I want to keep Internet at both of my addresses while I'm in the process of moving, and then stop service in the first address later. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@aljonp1 Thanks for posting on our community forums. That's a great question. There is an option to keep both addresses active. We just need to set the expectation that it will require us to open a new account at the new location and that will not allow us to link your tenure. Additionally, the bills will overlap. If that works for you, we can help with the process here. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look at this issue.

To send a Direct Message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Messaging chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

@user_vywj4d We definitely understand that plans can change. I would be more than happy to help you cancel that transfer of service since you aren't moving. To get started, may I please have your full name and address?
