How do I talk to a real representative online?

Did xfinity take away the real representatives online? Do they really just have the “Xfinity Assistant” that doesn’t really help with anything.

When using the live/instant chat, the Xfinity assistant is there to help with general information and self-service options. But if you follow the prompts you can get routed to a live agent. We also have agents available on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and here on the Community Forums.

But how do I get to a live agent? I was trying for 15 minutes and I never got directed to a real person.

Hi @user_rc99cy I’m sorry to your expereince. Fifteen minutes is a long time trying to reach an agent. There are live agents available. I was able to call in and reach someone this morning. What were you calling in for maybe we can help?

Do I really need Xfinitys 1000mg download there are two of us in our late 60s we do not play video games only stream movies once in awhile, I have 23 Devices that are your typical devices from my Ring doorbells, 2 watches, 2 tablets, printer, PC, 2 amazon Echos, washer, dryer,2 phones, home thermostat, 2 tvs, speaker, ect it may seem allot but what does the population that has family's with more devices then me Xfinitys next tier is 1200 download for the largest family with more devices then me, the rep I talked to when I could not pay such a high bill talked me into the 1000mg with a promotion going on at the time, I was able to budget $50 for the internet in my monthly expenses, I am on a limited income that I have to put in a certain amount of gas in my car (for example) to keep my budget healthy, with an increase almost double for internet is not for me, when I live chatted with an agent he offered me a deal with new phones,it will only put me behind even further

Doesn't Xfinity have something for seniors that is affordable anything would help
