How do I get the underground cable lines installed?

Last time I tried to get Comcast internet I was told by the technician that they could not find any cable lines near my home. They did say they could lay an orange cable across my yard to get me service but I declined.

Is there a way I can get the underground cables installed prior to ordering internet service?

Hey there, @user_821322 The temp line is just so you can use your services immediately as burying the line takes more time so we do that line first if you do not have any lines at your home. Let me know how you would like to proceed.

@ComcastAnthonyT I understand it takes time to get the lines buried. But is there any potential for me having to pay some amount for getting the lines buried and how much could that be?

@user_821322 Thank you so much for writing back to us! I understand that you would like to know if you can pay to get the line buried sooner and at this time that is not an option on our end. Once the temporary line has been placed we create a special work order to have the temporary line buried and that can normally take on average 2-3 weeks at times sooner. Our field technicians are great and I assure you that you would be in the best hands.
