How do I get my free wifi extenders?

MY plan says I get free wifi extenders. I did the troubleshooting steps through the mobile app and it says I have some slow signals on some of my devices. when I click the 'let's go' button to order a 'pod' I get sent straight to the BUY page, no option to order my free extender. how do I go about getting the free extenders that my plan includes?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey @ishist, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. The only two subscriptions that may include an Xfinity WiFi Extender would be our Xfinity xFi Complete service or our newly released Xfinity Pro service. These plans cost $25/m and $15/m respectively. Do you currently subscribe to either of these services? If so, you would see it listed within on the Xfinity Bill.

If you currently subscribe to our Xfinity xFi Complete, you would need to receive an email indicating that an Xfinity WiFi Extender is recommended and redeem through the email only. You can learn more by visiting our 'Xfinity xFi Complete — Whole home WiFi evaluation' support page.

If you subscribe to our Xfinity Pro service, you would have already received an Xfinity Pro WiFi Extender which will help provide coverage to WiFi dead zones within the home. Do you currently have an Xfinity xFi Gateway and Xfinity Pro WiFi Extender within the home?

Wow, what an insidious way of making sure I can't redeem a benefit I'm paying for. I do have xFi Complete and have for years. I just built two rooms in my home and that changed the wifi reception. Since it's after the 24 months of 6 month check-ups that means I no longer qualify to get the free extender? Is there some logical reason that it is not only limited but there is no way for a customer to prompt a check-up? Or is it just the standard corporate greed?

I am unsure of why the redemption period is set to 24 months, but have you heard of our Xfinity Pro service @ishist? It is $15.00 a month which would provide the home with an Xfinity Pro WiFi Extender which helps provide extended WiFi to help clear out WiFi dead zones along with an Xfinity Mobile cellular back up in case there is a network service interruption. This device has come in handy in my personal home during monsoon season and the microburst we have during the season.

With Xfinity Pro, you would receive an Xfinity Pro WiFi Extender with eligibility to receive an additional two standard Xfinity WiFi Extenders upon eligibility. You also receive additional benefits such as 'Boost a Device' to allow you to create a low latency connection to specific devices. Great for gaming.

I highly recommend taking a look at our Xfinity Pro product page to learn more by clicking here.
