Horrible service

This is the worst wifi company you could ever have, been a customer for almost 5 years and they keep [Edited: "Profanity"] me over. I was offered a “free iPad” that I  paid $75 to have it activated and sent to me, then they opened an Xfinity mobile account for it for over $100 a month which I didn’t receive the iPad but they tried to send me to collections for an iPad I didn’t sign for. Now they won’t let me do Xfinity mobile because of it. And now I told them I am canceling service in the middle of my month and he said I would pay $44 but because I have 14 month on my contract I have to pay an extra $140. [Edited: "Profanity"] RIDICULOUS

Good morning @user_d0d64b, and thanks for posting your issue to the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear about the issues that you are having with the account, but you have come to the right place for assistance. You mentioned that you were told that if you were to cancel the account that there would be a charge of $140, it sounds like that when you last renewed your plan, there was a contract element based on the rate you were provided. Some plans have a contract for one or more years that do come with an early termination fee if broken.
