Horrible experience with Xfinity

I am an Xfinity Gigabit customer in Jacksonville (32207). I have been left with zero internet and a 2-week delay for a tech appointmentafter already having issues for months and having a technician come to my home to supposedly fix the issue, he only made it worse by pulling my old cable from the ground and being lazy enough to not put the new one back through the ground instead hanging it from my roof through trees to the lamp pole, me and my wife both work from home we have been without internet and unable to work because of this and it is very frustrating specially how nonchalant and unhelpful these agents are they do not care and refuse to let me speak with a manager, they made me pay 10$ because they said I can use the Xfinity WiFi in the main time and it’s also not working when I connect it says no internet Furthermore, Xfinity has an acknowledged, confirmed overcharge of $465 two tradings that I did to receive new phones they claimed I only sent one phone but I have evidence that both phones was sent and delivered after days of fighting they finally acknowledged their messed up and I been waiting for over 2 months for them to remove the charges so I can pay my bill and it’s just accumulating to 800+ this is ridiculous and evil what they are making me go through someone who’s been with them for over 2 years going on 3 and also encouraging my family to transfer to Xfinity this is just a slap in the face

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there. We completely understand your frustration, especially with both you and your wife relying on the connection for work. The cable may have been placed temporarily while an underground replacement was arranged, but it should still be providing service.

Please make sure the coax cable is finger-tight at the wall and gateway, then unplug the gateway for 60 seconds and let us know what color the light shows after reconnecting it. Please do not move the outdoor cable.

We also need to review the two-week appointment delay, the $10 WiFi charge, and the unresolved $465 Mobile trade-in adjustment.

Can you please send us a direct message with your full name and service address so we can take a closer look?

How to send us a direct message:

- Click “Sign In” if necessary.
- Click the “Direct Messaging” icon.
- Click the “Start new conversation” icon, which looks like a pencil and paper.
- In the “To:” line, type “Xfinity Support.”
- As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select “Xfinity Support” from that list.
- An “Xfinity Support” graphic will replace the “To:” line.
- Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
- Press Enter to send it.

Talk to you there!
