Home Security Touchscreen

I paid for services and equipment for home security for 2 years and now Xfinity says I cancelled right at the 2 years mark of paying for all the equipment and fees. Now my touchscreen isn’t working and they want me to pay another technician and installation fee. Xfinity has the best internet service and they know it and make customers pay as much as possible. They monopolize the services. I asked for options to lower my bill and a rep apparently removed the pro protection I had on my plan but reassured me that I’d still have my home service. I do not even have cameras through Xfinity. This is ridiculous they did this to me with an Apple Watch as well. After I paid for it for 2 years they tried to add the charges back onto my account saying I hadn’t paid the watch off. I’ve been on chat for 2 hours where the rep keeps saying the same thing. Just add the service back that I paid for 2 years. Someone needs to investigate them. A class action or a ban/ cap on how much can be charged for these services that we need.

We’re really sorry for the frustration and stress this has caused you. Your loyalty means so much to us, and we want to make sure you feel supported and that your concerns are fully addressed.

It sounds like there may have been some confusion around the removal of your protection plan and how it affected your home security equipment and services. We completely understand that you expected continued access to the services you’ve paid for, and we’d like to take another look at your account to figure out exactly what happened and find the best way to fix this for you.
