Help with electrical ground problems
I have had two severe thunderstorms in the last 2 months. I have lost two pieces of network equipment. I have everything connected to a UPS including a brand new CyberPower I got in July. I suspect surges are coming through coaxial line. Is it possible to have comcast tech come out and test the ground or install new/better ground connections? Even if the property does not have a deep ground into the earth they should still be able to at least attach to something else that gives the surge a better path than to go into my equipment. Earlier today Xfinity even confirmed the internet was down briefly. So guessing the lightning strikes are doing real damage and its not my paranoia. Can a agent reply?
Thanks
