Held hostage by Assurant

I called for an exterior repair and coax replacement and was held hostage by Assurant, Xfinity’s third party warranty/ insurance provider. The rep would not transfer me and continuously asked for my payment method to sign up for their insurance scam. I refused to pay for a service Xfinity provides to its customers, hung up, and have signed up with AT&T. Bye-bye.

Hey @user_wdkw5i, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We would be more than happy to help where we can. Could you please provide some additional details on the experience you are encountering? Did you recently submit a damage claim for the exterior of your home and coax lines?

Did you file a damage claim first?
