Got an emial from xfinity "Your services will be disconnected soon"

The email is a legitimate email, yet xfinity people have zero clue and not a single person on the phone has an answer or is willing to send me a confirmation that my account is not getting disconnected.

Call Customer Security Assurance.  They should be able to help you.
