Calling sales is useless, how do I get ahold of someone for a quote / availability check for Gigabit Pro (2Gbps symmetrical).

Gig Pro Requirements can be found here.

Some basic information you need to know.

We will need to run a serviceability check to see if your home is eligible for the gigabit pro service.

Once we conduct the serviceability check on your home, there is up to $500 activation fee and a $500 installation fee totaling $1,000.

Service is $299.95 a month with a $19.95 monthly professional-grade equipment rental fee plus taxes.

The Gigabit Pro service requires a two-year contract with an early termination fee, which declines over the course of the contract.

You will need to have a computer or other device capable of accepting 2 Gbps services to utilize the full capabilities of Gigabit Pro

If your home is serviceable, we will need to build fiber optics to your home. That process can take several weeks. We will communicate our progress throughout that time.

Thanks, but I have all of this info already. What I need is to talk to someone at xfinity than can check availability and setup installation.

Nobody has any info on who to contact on this? Sales department is useless and has no idea what I'm talking about when I say Gigabit Pro. They keep trying to sell me 1Gbps (which I already have).

Hello @codezomb

I can put in a ticket to see if we can install the fiber Gigabit Pro to your address. Can you please private message me your full name? Thank you for posting to our forums.

@ComcastMartin

Can you help me check my address too? The ads are on TV, I’ve been calling for a year, no other way to check but to call - literally no sales reps even know about the offering, best chance is they transfer you to business dept.. exhausting.

Hi @ComcastMartin , I'm having the same problem trying to get in touch with someone to verify service at my current address and the new address i'm moving to in a couple months. This was available at my current residence and shows up in the website when i search for services but i'm unable to get anyone on the phone.

I tried messaing you directly with the method above but I don't have a send message to you directly when loading your name/profile.

Is there a way you could message me and i'll reply with my addresses?

Thanks again, its a big help.

Hi can you please help me. We are a small online home based business. We have xfinity 1000 gig speed now but we are interested in gig speed pro. I called Comcast many times with no luck. I also called Comcast business but they were no help either. Cn you please check my location to see if gig speed pro is even available.

Thank you in advance.

Hey there, @SFGucci and @Atl43, we can check to see the Gigabit Pro availability in your area. Please click on my handle (ComcastGina) and send a private message with your name and the complete service address (including city, state, ZIP, suite number, etc), so we can take a look.

@Misplaceddna that might have been because you're new to the community (welcome!) so you had to make your first post, in order to send a private message. It should work now 🙂 Please let us know your name, the current address, and the new address in the private message.

Hi @Jeffnews ! If you have our residential services at your home-based business, please send over your name and the service address in a private message here. If you have our business services at your home-based business, then please head over to our Comcast Business Support Community and reach out for further assistance there, so we can ensure that we are providing you the correct support 🙂

@ComcastGina

It's possible I'm missing it, but when I click your name, I do not see a way to private message you. I, too, am interested in Gigabit Pro service. Please let me know how to get information on availability. Thanks.
