Ghosted by service tech

I became a new internet user Xfinity 07/01/2026 and have not been able to get my modem activated and have been without internet for almost half of this month. I was ghosted for service technician appointment scheduled Sunday 07/12/2026 and did not receive any notice or reasoning as to why. I’m confused and frustrated, I am a brand new customer and simply want my service activated otherwise I will be cancelling and searching for a different internet provider in my area. The representative I spoke with after my technician was a no-show scheduled an appointment for Tuesday 07/14/2026 without asking me if this date works. I will be able to attend this appointment as my internet situation is dire but again, I am frustrated. I simply want my service activated and I also believe I should be compensated with a credit for my no-show appointment on 07/12/2026 and the lack of internet service for half of my first month.
