Getting my device unlocked

I am trying to get my phone unlocked from past 3 to 4 days. Everytime I chat with agents they give answers in similar patterns in which they trained to. I have already ported my numbers to different carrier. The ticket has been raised, and I am getting answer that it will be resolved in 24 hrs. But nothing has happened. Looks like they are doing it purposely.

Hello and thank you for joining the Forums community, user_5vln0n. If you need to unlock your Xfinity Mobile phone, so it can be used with another wireless carrier, no problem. In most cases, your phone will be unlocked automatically within up to 48 hours of being paid off.

Here are the other unlock requirements to be aware of:

  • At least 60 days must pass since your phone was activated.
  • Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.
  • Your phone cannot be reported lost, stolen, or involved in fraudulent activity.

If you believe you’ve met these requirements, but your phone is still locked, please chat with Xfinity Assistant. Please keep in mind we don’t unlock phones for international travel unless the requirements above are met. Please note only the account holder, Primary user, or a Manager on a phone’s original Xfinity Mobile account can request to have it unlocked.

After you’ve met all requirements to unlock your phone, please visit Apple support for steps to finish unlocking for iPhones.

Note: Apple devices do not require an unlock code. They unlock through updates made when connected to WiFi or cellular data.

After you’ve met all requirements to unlock your phone for Android devices, restart your device; no additional steps are needed to complete the process. I hope this info helps!

I’m still dealing with the same issue  says they have blocked my account  I do get some of my email but not all and I can’t send emails out. 

well it needs updated again. They need to unblock my account.

Xfinity Mobile does not unlocks your phone to make you buy another one our go back to their service

I have been trying to get my iphone unlocked for almost a month now. Xfinity pulled $800 out of my account to pay off the phone and now gives me the run around and won't unlock my phone. I moved to another carrier, Is this revenge for moving to another carrier. Very bad business ethics. I had regretted moving to a different carrier and now with what I am going through I don't think I would want to go back to Xfinity if this is how they treat their customers

Xfinity Mobile has the worst customer service interface I have ever seen. They purposely have an automated system to direct and redirect your call into an endless loop. No matter what you say it will not recognize it and will hang up on you. You cannot speak to a live agent. It forces you to speak with automated system or xfinity assistant which is essentially the same thing just typing it in. I was just trying to unlock my phone that is paid off. Spent my whole evening with empty promises and getting hung up on. My theory is They do this on purpose so people will give up. They are too arge with too many departments to be efficient at anything. It is a chaotic system designed that way to discourage you because they don't have enough workers. You have not heard the last of me Xfinity.

I finally got my phone unlocked. I happened to get a person on the phone that actually made a ticket for my phone to be unlocked, I had multiple people before tell me they made a ticket to get it done and I never heard from them, so they lied which I was thinking possibly they were since they wouldn't give me the ticket number. This last person did give me the ticket number and told me there was no other tickets on my account, no surprise, she told me it would take up to 48 hours to get it done which I was told before but this time I got an email telling me it was unlocked only a hour after the call. Finally after so many chats with people in India telling me they unlocked it and all the calls its finally done.
