Gateway is failing

My wifi keeps dropping.  I have done all the online tests and everything is "fine".  I've restarted my Gateway modem several times and the wifi works for 5-10 minutes before failing again.  Rinse and repeat.  Can I take my Gateway modem to a local store and swap it out?  I have now wasted 20 minutes that a one minute conversation with an agent could have answered my question.  Infuriating!

Our Digital Care Team is awesome to work with because we'll always do whatever we can to review and resolve issues quickly :) To answer your question, yes - you can take your Gateway to an Xfinity Store for a swap. I also highly recommend reviewing these Connection Troubleshooting Tips if you haven't yet. Let us know if you notice anything else that needs adjusting. Otherwise, we're also happy to take a closer look at things today.
