fixing poor broadband quality

I can't find a way to directly contact the company. While that is by design, I have to add my voice to the chorus of complaints.

I moved last year and, sadly, still had no competition from which to choose. The last place was questionable but, far too often, this new place has terrible quality. Videos that used to be clear are often fuzzy. I have enough broadband that, for instance, MLS clips should be clear. They rarely are.

I recommend performing a speed test https://speedtest.xfinity.com/ to make sure you are getting the plan speed. Actually, a lot of the troubleshooting you need can be done through the Xfinity App. I would also perform a physical inspection of your cable to make sure they are not loose, kinked, or damaged. Splitters that are not necessary or failing can cause quality issues as well. Feel free to post your results and any modem logs you have, so the community can assist.
