File a complaint
I contact Xfinity on Monday about a line down that’s resting on my garage. I was told a tech would be out 6/30 between 2-5. That time came and went. I was told it was moved to 7/1 between 2-5 again. After waiting all day I contacted support and they assured me a tech would be at my location by 7. Well, 7 came and went and I was told another tech would be here 7/2 between 2-5.
This is a fire hazard and safety concern for my child and pet. The line is low enough to touch and resting on my garage. It has been tested and is carrying a voltage.
I have been lied to 5 times, I’ve had my appointment changed on me three times without my knowledge.
This is a 5 minute job to cut a line down. I don’t understand why I am being lied to. I just need this down so I don’t have to worry about my garage catching on fire or my child getting hurt from this!

Hey @user_79humt, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We would be more than happy to review the scheduling of the low cable drop line. Are you an active subscriber with services being affected or just need the line raise with no service issues?
With low drop lines, the appointment is based on technician availability, so it can be rescheduled until an opportunity arises. So the appointment is not a concrete set appointment but a variable one.

I had a scheduled appointment for July 1, 2026, 4:00pm -6:00pm. I was at home all day and waited for the technician to come during the scheduled times. At approximately I received several texts stating that the technician was arriving at my home, which he never did. The text stated several times that the technician was arriving, which he never did. Then I received a silence voice mail stating that my appointment was closed because the technician was unable to reach me. That was about 7:00pm. My question is, why all the drama when the technician knew he was not coming. I believe he came, but not to my house. There were several people that was waiting across the street, but while the technician claiming to be arriving at my home, all suddenly left and I received several verification codes on my phone telling me to verify myself. I believe all these codes were for the people who was able to reconnect to my WIFI. I received approximately 12 verification codes on my email. I believe that these people have reconnected to my WIFI. The sad thing is that there is no human being in management who I can complaint too.
