Exterior wire cleanup pickup

I had xfinity internet service installed on July 29, 2026. On Aug 7, 2026, a tech came out and buried the permanent wire from the pole to my house. On Sept 18, a tech was suppose come back to remove and cleanup/pickup the above ground wiring. It is over 200ft of wiring that is still connected to my house from the pole. No one showed up on Sept 18. I called xfinity and was given the new appt date of Oct 12, 2026. No one showed up. I called xfinity again. The rep said the appt is now for Nov 12, 2026. After I told him that I will be filing a complaint because of the negligence on Xfinity's part, he gave me an appt of Oct 14. 2026. That is 2 days from now. I would like to formally file a complaint against Xfinity for negligence and abandonment of property. Who can i talk to? I have all the names, times, and dates of the people I have spoken to. What happens if no one shows up on Wednesday to pickup the wiring? Can I cut the wiring off myself? I am unable to maintain the lawn because I have over 200ft of wiring laying on my property. Do I report it to my city, county, state? Who?

Please send us a direct message* with your full name and complete service address, and we’ll be happy to review the situation with you.
