email on outlook
Email on outlook on my laptop suddenly stopped working a few days ago. When I bring up outlook, I get a send/receive error and nothing happens. No email has been picked up on outlook since then. Although the same thing happened on my iphone., somehow resetting a password returned functionality to the phone. I can log on to xfinity and can access my email directly via xfinity, though this is not an attractive option. What changed last week, and how do I get outlook functionality back? I tried going through xfinity help, but this was worse than useless.

Talked with Xfinity support many times (we a no speak English) . New PC with Windows 11 installed. Email will connect about 10 % of the time crazy. Efinity no recommend using Outlook and defualt email. You web based email because we cannot properly navigate Windows 11 security. ATT on the other hand (also one of my two default emails in Outlooks) works.
ATT tech support understands Windows 11. They walked me through putting in my email PW and normal. Thern went to web mail asked for a secured encrypted password then copy and pastes that in. ATT always opens then sends received. Time to send Xfinity tech support back to school for reprogramming. Shut them down then try start . May the forced be with all of us.
