email not working on iPhone
My email account no longer works on my iPhone. Suddenly and without warning, I receive an error message that states "The mail server impa.comcast.net is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings".
I've attempted to delete and reinstate both the account and the Mail app on my phone, with no luck. Please advise ASAP.

I have the same problem. I cannot get Comcast email on my iPhone or iPad. I can go to the internet on either device and get my email. I have deleted and reinstalled comcast on my iPad. It just says "The mail server "imap.comcast.net" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in mail settings. Well...I verified it. Gmail works fine. What's up with Comcast?? Have you found any solution? I have reviewed the settings on the iPad and iPhone and they are in accordance with what all the solutions to fix the problem say they need to be. Still no luck. I have disabled the VPN (Norton) and that didn't help either. Now what??

I am having a slightly different issue. My email is working but the hyperlinks are not. I got a message the other day that the server was down. Ever since then, none of the hyperlinks will work. I am using Chrome, and I go to the xfinity website on Chrome to get my email on my iPhone. I tried switching to Safari but that doesn’t work either.
I have checked absolutely everything I can think of. If I log on through my computer, they work. I have updated Chrome on my computer and on my phone. I’ve rebooted everything. I can’t figure anything out. Any suggestions???
