Email Not working on IOS

My email will not work on my iphone all of a sudden. It says that my username and password is not correct however it is correct and I have even changed it several times. I have reset my phone reinstalled the mail app and made sure to allow third party services in settings. It lets me log into it on my computer but not on my iphone. I have never had this issue before.

kperry0402 Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your email not working on the iPhone. It sounds like you've done most of the troubleshooting we recommend to start with. Did you also check the iPhone IOS? Is it up to date?

I am also suddenly having this problem as of this weekend. It seems to happen on WiFi and not when I’m connected via cell data. It also comes and goes. Sometimes it works and then suddenly it stops. If I connect via cell and then reconnect to WiFi it will work for awhile and then stop again. Before this weekend, I never had this problem.

Chr1s To confirm, this issue is also with an iPhone, and the recommended steps above haven't been able to assist you with getting access back?

Yes, iPhone and iPad. In my case the email client is Outlook for iOS.

chr1D Thanks for confirming that for me. Did this happen after a recent update to the IOS by chance on your devices?

No, I haven’t had an update in awhile and this problem just started a couple of days ago.

chr1D It would be best to check if there are any new updates for the devices in iOS. Typically there might be a password reset that is needed for the email if it was not meeting the complexity requirements.
