Hello, @user_b93xdh! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum! Is this error occurring on a third party mail client? If so, are you able to log in to our web based email here : https://connect.xfinity.com/ ?

It is happening on both web based Xfinity and third party, but only for one of my comcast.net emails.  Other one is ok

@user_b93xdh, thanks for that information! I would recommend you try and update your password to see if that helps get you into your email. You can do that here : http://www.xfinity.com/password let me know if that works for you.

I have tried to update my password and still get an error.  It says validation of server imap.comcast.net failed due to invalid credentials.  I am traveling and not on home WiFi.  Does this matter?

I also see a message “entered credential or authentication does not work or are no longer accepted by provider.  Please change them.  This is in my account on xfinity web.  Again, only on 1 email account.

@user_b93xdh, when trying to update the password what is the exact error that you receive?

As far as traveling, primary users can reset their passwords at xfinity.com/password if they have one of the following associated with their Xfinity ID or they’re on their home network and don’t have any verification method set up.

-Verified mobile phone number.
-Verified personal (non-Comcast) email address.
-Known secret question and answer.
