So we've been having this issue for several days..   We are now being bumped to level 3 support but it appears the representatives have no clue that this has been an issue for others.

I've done all the resetting and trying from different browsers, different email clients, phones etc and we are denied access only on one of our 3 xfinity email accounts.

Pretty sure they turned the problem email account inactive and that is when it began.

If anyone found a solution please post it here as I'm losing my patience with Xfinity support staff who do not seem to know how to repair the issue. TIA

My Thunderbird was down with this issue starting in September. I quickly found many online with the same issue.
Last month I updated Outgoing Server / Authentication Method from OAuth2 to Normal Password and it worked.
Miracle!

user_kmx1dx What phone do you have? Are you using an app to access your emails? What error message are you receiving?

I am having a similar issue with my email. I installed Thunderbird on my phone and configured it for my Comcast email without issue. I am trying to install Thunderbird on my desktop but get the below error. I am able to access my email on my phone using Thunderbird or the website, and on my desktop using the website.

I'm having the same issue, when trying to access Xfinity through my phone, whether on my home network or traveling.  On my laptops or tablets, it works, but my Access is Denied for days on my iPhone, then magically works after maybe 24 hours or so, then fails again.  Rinse and repeat.

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://login.xfinity.com/login?" on this server (note the lack of an s in http, not sure if that's relevant, but remember I'm not typing that address.  That's the default when I type Xfinity into the phone browser

This appears to be happening for a lot of users for many months.  Has any resolution be found?
