Email about free xFi pods but website says not elgibile

I got an email about being eligible for a free xFi Pod but after clicking the link in the email the website says "Looks like your not eligible for this offer"

I'm a little confused, if I'm not eligible then why am I getting an email about it?

SeismicWhales We're so excited that you've received this email for the free XFi Pod!  There may be number of reasons the link is not working. Have you tried these other methods listed below as well?

- The same online order link will be available in xFi's Notification Center

and the WiFi Boost Pod Redemption tile in the Overview tab of the Xfinity app.

I don't see the notification in the xFi notification center or a tile in the overview tab either.

SeismicWhales Can you try this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/whole-home-wifi-evaluation as it's the complete overview of the whole home evaluation process. Did you receive any email notification about it?

We are glad to take a closer look into this for you @SeismicWhales!  Please feel free to shoot us aprivate message so that we can get started.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
