EBB.Internet Essentials.Add basic TV service.Device allowance.Transfer Lifeline phone

These are the things that I want to accomplish. It is overwhelming and I keep giving up. I have Internet Essentials and EBB approval ID number. 1.  I want to add basic TV to watch the news in real time. Is there an offer for basic cable to Internet Essential customers that are approved for EBB? 2. I want to use the EBB device allowance of $150 to purchase a computer through Internet Essentials. I cannot stream programing, my laptop overheats. 3. I want to transfer my Lifeline phone to Xfinity mobile. I have Assurance Wireless, just merged with TMobile, Assurance gets only half a signal because TMobile customers get priority. I need to be put into direct contact with a real person at Xfinity who is informed enough to simply make the changes to my service.

Hi there! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out with your inquiries. Our awesome digital care team is here to help! If you are an internet essentials customer, and would like to add TV, you would need to purchase a separate TV plan as we do not bundle with internet essentials. There is also not a special discount for TV packages if you are an EBB or Internet Essentials customer.

If you would like to use the credit from EBB towards a laptop, you would need to call our internet essentials team to see if that is a possibility. You can reach them at 1-855-846-8376.

As for Xfinity mobile, you should not have an issue getting that transferred over. you can choose to sign up with an agent or you can do so by going to https://comca.st/3yN6zf6. we hope this answers your questions. Please let us know if we can assist further. Thank you!

OK. Problem with your answer. You stated that Internet Essentials cannot be bundled with other services. However, when I try to order cable TV, Xfinity only offers me a bundle with Internet as an existing customer. On my account page, when I try to add cable, the least expensive Internet & cable TV package offered is $100. Please forward me to someone there who understands that I want basic cable and I want to pick up a cable box at my local store.

Internet essentials cannot be bundled with TV. If you ordered the package that was offered online, that would switch your internet to our residential package pricing and internet, not internet essentials. You can definitely add a TV package but it would be on top of the Internet Essentials rather than a bundled price. If you would like to get some quotes on the TV packages, initiate a chat and start with your full name and address! To start a chat, please click the chat icon in the top right of the page! Search for Xfinity Support, if needed. Talk to you there!

At one time Internet Essentials offered low-cost basic tv to IE customers, but I don't know if they still do.  Again, that would be something to ask the IE folks.
