My DVR recordings get very pixelated. The sound goes out, picture freezes. No matter what tv I try to watch the recordings from. It only started just recently after getting a new box to watch Disney+.

Going forward, I'm truly sorry to hear about the pixilation/sound issues you're having with your TV services. To confirm, are you only receiving this issues on recorded content or live content as well? Additionally, is this happening on multiple boxes or are you using our Stream app as well when the problems occur? Thanks again for both your time and patience throughout this process!
Hi - I’m having this same issue with recordings only. The playback is pixelated and audio cuts out and it’s mostly unwatchable. If I switch to the stream app the recording plays back fine. We don’t have issues with live TV either. We’ve tried restarting, doing a system refresh, and I’m not sure what else to check at this point. Do we need to replace the DVR or is there something else? We only have the one box.
@jryan212 I brought my box to an Xfinity store and replaced it with another. It solved the issue completely.
