Drop Bury Request Turnaround Time
Moved into a home this past week and realized there was not coax cable installed. A tech came out and informed us a drop bury request was needed. A ticket was submitted and a new appointment was set up. After a second visit, the outcome was the same. We are now being told it can take up to 14 business days if there are no delays. The connection point for the coax cable is apparently across the street and under asphalt. Myself and my partner work from home and need internet to do our jobs. I am at my wits end and wondering if there is any way to expedite this process.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey @user_2h3333, Thank you for visiting our Xfinity Forums support page! We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the installation and drop bury process. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you.
Please accept my most sincere apology, but this process can take up to 14 business days if everything goes according to plan. I highly recommend viewing our 'When an underground cable line needs to be installed or replaced' support page that has additional details and information.
Depending on the drop, we would need to wait before proceeding further. Other departments and outside entities are required and needed such as Before You Did, utility markings, equipment and more. I do apologize, but we would be unable to help speed up the process and need to wait for the other companies to finish the required work before we can begin.
