Download Xfinity Home Security Certificate

I'm trying to download the Home Security Certificate for my home insurance. I go to the page that I've seen posted. It goes to the page and then updates to some generic Xfinity Homepage. The page I want to be on refreshes to something else that doesn't include the page I need. Any idea what is going on? I can't get to the Alarm Certificate link.

Hello, jamesm22! Thank you for joining the Xfinity Forums community! Can you please try to clear cache and cookies on your device and then Sign in to customer.xfinity.com/#/services/home with your Xfinity ID and password? From here we'll scroll down to the Security Alarm Certificate section, and click the Download the Alarm Certificate link.

@XfinityThomasA It doesn't work!  It flashes the page up for a split second and then forwards you to the home security page for Xfinity!

Thanks for reaching back out, user_4dnu40. Did you try clearing your cache and cookies to see if that helped? What browser are you using when you are having issues?

The concern is not "Home Security Rules And Automations" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I'm having the same problem. Tried clearing cache etc - used different browsers and devices but same issue. Obviously a Xfinity website / service issue that need to be resolved. I too need the certificate.

Thanks for reaching out, ccoc! We are happy to help further with the Xfinity Home Certificate. Your troubleshooting steps are very much appreciated. Are you seeing the certificate but can't download it or are you also seeing the website redirect to the wrong page? What browser are you using to access our website?

Instead of downloading the certificate, I am redirected to a page to purchase Xfinity product,

WHY?

@user_54ojzj Does a direct link work: https://customer.xfinity.com/#/services/home? Please, let us know, so we can continue investigating this.

@XfinityTony  - Continue to have the same problem.  It just redirects to the Xfinity home splash page for new customers.

It connects to the page https://customer.xfinity.com/#/services/home for a second but does not fully load and then automatically redirects to  https://www.xfinity.com/auth

I'm having the same issues!! How do I fix this? This is ridiculous and frustrating that I have to go through all of this. Why is it sooo hard?

Same here. I actually went into an Xfinity store & they were of no help. Said need to call customer service. Good luck with that. I did not have half a day to spend on hold & pressing prompts, so have not called yet

Here is a step by step for the process:

Download your Certificate of Alarm System

  1. Sign in to customer.xfinity.com/#/services/home with your Xfinity ID and password.
  2. Scroll down to the Security Alarm Certificate section.
Scroll down to find the security alarm certificate section.
  3. Click the Download the Alarm Certificate link.
Download the Alarm Certificate is a hyperlink on the right side of the Security Alarm Certificate section
  4. Your Certificate of Alarm System opens in a new window where you can download it to your computer or print a copy using your browser tools.

@user_1i43h0 I eventually got to support who helped by resetting my account and clearing some cache. I was then able to follow the instructions and download. The support representative told me I was not the only one having issues. They were very helpful.
