Down Internet lines not a priority

So we lost power the day the storm occurred and did not get it until a week later. Now that we have power I cannot report this internet line that is just sitting in my backyard up until a couple days ago, still no one has followed up and there is no where to check on this case number I was given that's a "hazard"

While I understand that you are waiting until areas are safe, there is no where to check or report anything and the number I dial only tells me there is an outage in my area, which I am aware of but what good would the service be if I see clearly that the internet line is sitting back there.

Not only that but I receive "Service Restored" text and emails and then get prompted and asked if the equipment works now. I am frustrated because there is nothing to troubleshoot or check when that internet line I should not touch is sitting in my backyard that we have had to walk/work around when we cleared the tree that dropped it. And can't report anything  since everything just tells me that there's an outage and working to restore service as soon as possible then my call drops and i cant get the chat to schedule or request an appointment.

Truly disappointing as at least a little effort would be appreciated. Truly a sad experience as I had to lose out on 2 weeks of work and can't even get anything back about my internet.

Thanks for reaching out, _lhdz! Do you still need assistance with that down line?
