Dispute on new Xfinity plan that was supposed to be activated 2 months back, has never activated and is currently denied

Hi Team,
This is a formal grievance on the an agreed xfinity service plan which was discussed with an Xfinity chat representative on July 28, 2026 and agreed upon based on formal approval agreements on xfinity-provided links from his end, never got activated. The plan included an xfinity mobile service which was activated within the next 2 days, based on the fact that the new plan was active. I never formally received any confirmation email on the plan activation and did not follow up on that during that time, due to my busy schedule. The plan was supposed to be charged at $77 monthly including the $5.55 mobile charges.

Recently after receiving a high monthly bill of $119 on Sept 2026 when I inquired about the issue, I was informed that the plan was never activated by the agent in the first place and currently they cannot do anything about this situation as there is no such plan availble at this time rated at the earlier price. If I need to move to another promotional plan, that would be $96.50 monthly now and they would do nothing about it. It seems to be a direct breach of trust, in other words a total fraud and lack of accountability on Xfinity's part denying a service which was accepted upon signed agreements 2 months back. Instead of doing due diligence to fix the issue and retroactively apply the mentioned service plan, they simply mentioned a one time credit could be provided for the hassle and I need to accept the new price price if I need to avail a plan.

Not having any confirmation emails and only chat messages with the agent from earlier dates which only Xfinity is currently in psosesison of and which they are denying to share with me as the only proof, I have no other way to fight it, except coming down to the forum for a justice. If this is the type of customer service Xfinity does ot a 7 years long association, I would love to be part of other service provider asap.

abhi06548 Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I can understand why this situation would be frustrating, especially if you were expecting a different plan and pricing based on previous discussions.

While we are unable to determine what may have occurred from the information shared in this post alone, we'd like the opportunity to review the account history, any orders that may have been submitted, and the details surrounding the plan change. If an error occurred, we'll work to ensure the appropriate next steps are taken.

Please send us a Direct Message with your full name and service address so we can investigate further. We'll review the records available and provide clarification on what occurred and any options that may be available.

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
