disable voice mail

I have made past requests for you to disable my land line voice mail.  I prefer the telephone voice mail, as I am missing important calls/call-back because they go to my landline voice mail.

Hey there, @user_qycwjh. You'll want to update the amount of rings it takes before our voicemail engages with us and ensure that your physical answering machine has a lower amount of rings so it will be engaged first.

To change the number of rings before voicemail answers:

  1. Sign in to Xfinity Voice Settings using your Xfinity ID and password.
  2. Click on Call Forwarding and then scroll to Advanced Call Forwarding.
  3. Click the drop down under Rings to select the number of rings before voicemail.
    • Note:
      • The minimum number of rings is two, and the maximum is nine.
      • The first phone number on this list, under the Advanced Call Forwarding section, must be your home phone.
      • The ring count changes on the page immediately, but in some cases the change can take up to 24 hours to take effect.

Thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums, @user_y04z4f! What are you seeing when you look under call forwarding? Are you seeing the Advanced Call Forwarding option?
