Damage Claim - Water Pipe Broken

A Comcast technician caused damage to a water pipe while burying cable in my yard.  I called and got a ticket number, but I'm not sure how to file a claim. as the representative said that someone would call me back from another department, but I've not heard back from them.

Hey @user_f75710, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. Oh no, I'm sorry to here there was damage done to the pipe and am glad the ticket was submitted! Through that process, the ticket agent will contact the local techs to have someone come out and survey the damage. They will also be the ones getting the claim submitted and will be contacting you to schedule the work being done. If you can send us a direct message I can check to see the status of the ticket and what is going on. You can send one by clicking the "message" icon in the upper right corner of our forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle Xfinity Support to send us a direct message.

@user_f75710, that's alright, I can send the link here to make it easy. When signed in, click https://comca.st/3jifjmf. That will pull up the Peer to peer chat. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon. The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there as employees all share the same handle/inbox to help. As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. (edited-correcting hyperlink)
