Customer Support - 1 Year Plan

I am a verified student and just signed up for the 1-year (no contract), $40/month 1000 Mbps Internet plan, and I just have a few questions. Since some of this may vary by location, I will be moving into an apartment in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02141.

First, I would appreciate a detailed breakdown of the total cost for my 1-year plan, including a confirmation of the monthly cost and any additional or hidden costs/fees/taxes associated with the plan (both one-time, monthly, and annual).

Additionally, I would like confirmation that this monthly cost is fixed and will not increase throughout the duration of the 12 months.

Lastly, I would appreciate clarification on the policy terms and agreement for this 1-year no-contract plan. Will the internet plan automatically cancel after the 1-year plan ends, or is there something I would have to do on my end to cancel it so I do not continue to get charged? I will only be in the area for these 12 months starting 9/1/2025, and will no longer need internet services after the year ends.

I called Xfinity customer support and was told I would receive all this information in a consent form after I signed up for the plan, but before it is authorized. When should I expect this?

Thank you
