I am trying to chat with a live agent.  I've been on the phone and lied to so many times that I would prefer a text record of conversations for my files.  There is no icon to chat with a live agent on my xfinity app.

I work from home, so I get how important it is to have a connection without interruptions and would be happy to look into the cause of this. To get started, please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address.

To send a "Direct Message" message:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
