Customer Service is really AWFUL anymore

I called last year about not being able to access Peacock or Disney+. The rep talked me into updating my service, which I’d just updated a couple months prior to be locked into a 5 year price…this time to only a two year price, but I’d get a “free” iPad and it would be $20 cheaper. Doing this would restart my Peacock subscription automatically and should take care of any issue I was having. Well, the iPad was not technically free and I still couldn’t access peacock. Disney was never addressed, but yet here I am still being charged $12 a month. Can’t access it through Xfinity and when I go to Disney, it says I don’t have a subscription. That’s funny. It’s sure on my Xfinity bill. He says, she says. No one wants to help or take responsibility. I can’t talk to Xfinity chat, it takes me in circles with its automated responses and it won’t give me a phone number. Xfinity has the absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever seen. I have 3 mobile lines, tv, internet and home security through them and it’s going to be the CS that has me leave after over 15 years. It’s ridiculous. On top of the Disney issue, I had the home security added in July. It goes off randomly at night. Says the front door opened when it didn’t. I’m afraid to turn it on. Great security system right there. Now I also need to contact them for that and I’m dreading it. My blood pressure goes through the roof every time I have to contact them. I often go for months and months with a problem, like Disney, because it’s such a freaking hassle to get anywhere with them even when you speak to someone. Last time I got through, they tried to sell me a “free” Apple Watch. Yeah. Right. Any advice on how to hit this problem would be appreciated. Gotta be a better way.

@XfinityJeff  ESPN Unlimited. Nothing else. My bill says to contact Disney+ Regarding subscription management, but they have no record of a subscription, and I gave them 3 different emails to try.  But Xfinity has been charging me for several months. Disney suggested I ask if there’s a subscription ID or reference number you have. Peacock is no longer an issue. I was finally able to delete it and reactivate. Which I have tried before and it didn’t work. Today it did. Disney, no luck. And the home security is a huge issue.

WOW ! The Peacock for me works on other streaming devices, except But Not allowed on my X1 Box! Because they want to extort me for Internet fees to use the PAID RENTAL fee on the X1 box. FCC should go after them for THAT!
