There is no way that "due to severe weather" they could not come up to our house/neighborhood. The local school bus transported kids everyday. Without Xfinity in our neighborhood, we have zero ways to communicate and no 911 service. This is a HUGE safety issue

@user_w0twph  Hello, we know how important it is for you to be connected and ensure that you have the service you need! Even while services are offline, if you have access to a cell phone, with or without mobile service, you should have access to connect with emergency services if needed. While I hope it is not something you need to use, it is an option for you! To confirm, were services offline due to your local power being offline? If so, we don't provide credits for power interruptions since that is outside of our control, and your home and the local equipment servicing your home does need access to power to provide service. However, if services were offline for other reasons, or our local team confirmed that you would be eligible, you can easily request a credit for any downtime via your online account!

When signed in to your online account, you can visit xfinity.com/support/status and there should be an option that says "Tips in case of an outage" at the bottom of the page. You can then click on the link and check your eligibility for a credit. You would need to fill out the form that pops up and enter your details on when the interruption occurred, and if eligible, automatically receive a credit! Please let me know if you have any questions on this process!

Thanks for sending this our way @EG!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
