Constant outages

I am so fed up with xfinity they have constant outages then wanted to raise my bill. I'm about to lose my work from home job because it's now out almost weekly. Not long ago it was down for over 9 hours. I get outages happen but this is constant and then they tell me there are no more planned outages everytime . Can't wait to get rod of them.

I am sorry for your experience @user_rxr5c8 Thanks for reaching out. Services may be out in your area due to a number of reasons, including but not limited to weather, power interruptions or other outside factors. When a service loss is declared in an area, our teams are notified and will work as quickly and safely as possible to ensure everyone is back up and running. We offer convenient self-service options to check service interruptions through My Account, the Xfinity App, or the Xfinity Status Center at http://www.xfinity.com/support/status. This is where you would get the most up to date information including ETAs. This is the same information all representatives have as well. Credits are applied once the service loss in the area is cleared. Once fully resolved, there is a way to request a credit online, and we will check to see if you are eligible! Visit the link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/account-management/credits/outage/details?client_id=helpandsupport&continue=https://www.xfinity.com/support/status&linkId=149261291.

Credits don't help when I'm losing a ton of money because I can't work. Internet is down yet again today and no one seems to want to fix the issue I will be switching to a more reliable company.

@user_rxr5c8 - I do understand the concern! Are you at all able to work away from home? We do offer millions of Xfinity Hotspots that could help in the meantime.

@XfinitySara asking someone to change their work because you all can't get it together  absolutely absurd! This has been going on since January guess xfinity doesn't care about it's customers

I would be happy to take a deeper look into the issues you are having with your connection on our end. I work from home myself and I know how important it is to stay connected.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.

Same here! Every day during the week from 4pm-6pm I have "outages" in my area, when I am in the middle of work. I am training and doing OT to afford to fix my home and then the internet crashes! You can't call customer service, no one has an answer except can I lower your bill? or can you pay your bill? then you get someone and it's someone out of India giving you platitudes about "understanding your frustration." If Xfinity has the g's to invest in sponsorships and other [Edit: Language] they can provide me adequate service!
