Constant outages after network upgrade
We originally received notice that work would commence on 4/7 in order to upgrade our network in Cromwell, CT, however it ultimately lasted two days with our internet being down. Since then, twice a week we have had outages as “repairs” are constantly being done with the internet being down at least half of the working day each time.
Both my wife and I work from home and our bosses are becoming increasingly frustrated with our constant downtime. They have begun even saying we should be looking for a different internet provider and reminding us that stable internet is part of our job requirements.
I need to know what is being done to have these constant outages and repairs finished, otherwise our jobs are seriously at risk.

Hello @user_yq2ae5 and thank you for posting your concern on our Xfinity Community forums. We can definitely take a look at this for you if you would like.
You can also access our website at https://www.xfinity.com/network to set up notifications of service interruptions as well as planned upgrades and repairs to your local area to be more informed of what is going on in your neighborhood that might affect you.
Typically with planned maintenance work we do post notifications if you're subscribed to them so you can plan accordingly, however in most cases, planned work doesn't last anywhere near the length of time you are describing, so something else may be going on.
We'd be happy to look into this with you to determine whats really happening. 😀
To get started, simply send us a Direct Message* (I''m including some handy instructions on how to do that below.) Please include your full name, and service address, and once we have your account located and verified, we can take a look into this for you and get a better picture of what is causing your current issues.
How to Send Us a Direct Message*:
